Luna Vineyards is one of our Napa Valley favorites, for their Italians style wines, friendly atmosphere, and the incredible view from their tower. 

The other night, over dinner at Trelis in Kirkland, we enjoyed the 2003 Luna Canto, a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, Cab Franc, Cab Sauvignon, and Petite Syrah.  Whoa, thats a lot of different grapes. Its’s very distinct, very smooth, and incredibly balanced in both texture and taste. It went best with the tenderloin tips.
